For autumn/winter 2010-11 in particular though, the "pared-down Parisian Balmain aesthetic" seems to have taken over, with a plethora of designers who might normally favour colour make-up statements or theatrical hair,such as Marc Jacobs, Matthew Williamson and Prada, favouring a much more pared-down take on beauty. Make-up artist Tom Pecheux used nude palette for this show. He highlighted the beauty of the girl instead of changing it. For the hair he simply washed the it and ironed out any kinks and finished with hair spray.
